Fremont, Calif. -- Quintus Corporation (NASDAQ: QNTS), a provider of contact center solutions for e-customer relationship management (eCRM), today announced the appointment of Paul Bartlett as its chief operating officer. Bringing an extensive track record of managing, advising and investing in leading businesses, Bartlett will be responsible for steering the operations of Quintus to the next phase of its evolution as a leading eCRM company.

In his new position, Bartlett will assume direct responsibility for Quintus' worldwide sales, customer services and engineering activities. He will report directly to Alan Anderson, chairman and CEO of Quintus Corporation.

In addition to his experience with Quintus, Bartlett was most recently the president of Hall Kinion & Associates, a leading public IT staffing, professional service and recruiting firm, where he also served as a director. Under Bartlett's leadership Hall Kinion grew 400%, added over 6,000 employees and successfully integrated five acquisitions. Prior to Hall Kinion, Bartlett was a partner with the Sprout Group, a venture capital firm, and an original investor in Quintus. Bartlett started his career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he focused on mergers, acquisitions and leveraged transactions. Bartlett received his B.A. in economics from Princeton University and his M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
