Anglers will be traveling to Troy this Saturday, but will the bass be biting?

The city will launch its first striped bass fishing tournament with a Mayor's Cup trophy and a first prize of $1,000 to be given for the largest fish. Second prize will be $650, and a $350 third prize will be offered.

"It's going really good. We had to cut it off; we had over 200 registered," said Gary Favro, a retired firefighter and organizer of the event.
